I'm a sucker for a vocal. Good lyrics and a good voice can be as powerful as the heaviest of basslines. So as we arrive at the sunnier months of the year, I'm going to share with you my favourite summer track so far:
I must admit, I overlooked this track at first on the 'Fist of God' album. But its still a great move, in my opinion, from MSTRKFRT, moving away from they heavy french-electro reputation and creating this beautifully gentle track.
But for those of you who are more inclined to the bangers, we've also included the Laidback Luke remix of Heartbreaker. With the piano riff glitched up and combined with those heavy dutch house drums, it gives the track more of an edge without ruining the original.
